Christmas Decorating

We still haven't gotten around to any outdoor decorating besides throwing a wreath on the door, but I did put up some decorations inside to get into the Christmas spirit.  Nothing crazy... just our old skinny tree from my old apartment (we'll get a bigger one next year) and some other odds and ends that I already had.  Here are some pictures:

Family room

My MIL (mother-in-law) made this for us... isn't it lovely?  I've never had a live wreath before!

That white tree was my mom's mom's tree when she was little so it's been in the family for many years. I never met my grandmother and my mother died 4 1/2 years ago, so this tree is very special to me. And it matches my decor perfectly!

Morning room
The snow globe on the left table was a gift from my cousin and it's from St. Jude's Children's Hospital, which was my mom's favorite charity so that's pretty special to me too. And the two silver trees on the other table I found in my parents' attic the other day. My mom had good taste :).

The morning room is about the only room I have somewhat finished furnishing.  I still want to do an area rug and some window treatments, but I'm happy with how it looks for now.

I got this idea for our Christmas Card display from IHeart Organizing.  We have it on our pantry door.  I'm thinking maybe I should have sent a change of address notice, because we have not gotten nearly enough Christmas cards yet!!

And last but not least, the powder room:

In other news, my amazing husband just got an awesome raise and bonus at work so now we can buy new couches!  Bring on the shopping!!!
